Harnessing Regional Development: Unlocking Productivity Through Regional Trade. This study is an analysis of Kenya’s approach to regional trade in East Africa, from the first development plan of 1965 to Vision 2030. In this paper I further discuss recent developments in the region, avenues to overcome barriers to EAC trade, and opportunity areas to proffer Kenya as a regional trade leader.
