- Harnessing Regional Development: Unlocking Productivity Through Regional Trade. This study is an analysis of Kenya’s approach to regional trade in East Africa, from the first development plan of 1965 to Vision 2030. In this paper I further discuss recent developments in the region, avenues to overcome barriers to EAC trade, and opportunity areas to proffer Kenya as a regional trade leader. Presented at 5th KIPPRA Annual Regional Conference on 15 June 2022.

Each chapter considers a key area, raises issues for attention and points to possible ways forward
- Assisted in background research and referencing for the book ‘Borderless Africa’ by Andrew Mold and Francis Mangeni with a target publication date of May 2024 The book does an in-depth analysis of the implications of the AfCFTA, demystifying myths about the continental trade and pointing to the economic rationale of the agreement.d
